As the sun was setting over Freshwater Beach and candles were glistening in dark, the bride and groom looked so happy. A small intimate gathering with a fabulous atmosphere as we all joined arms as I proceeded to read. Vows were said from the heart and rings were given with love and the ceremony finished with a beautiful glass or two of bubbles.

Centennial Park, Sydney – Wedding
Centennial Park, Sydney Wedding Ceremony. As Justine and Sam declared their love for each other on a beautiful Saturday afternoon surrounded by children feeding the ducks, cyclists, young lovers on blankets in the sun and lots of family picnics. I was honoured to perform such a romantic and simple ceremony for such a lovely couple. Of course, they jetted of to Europe in the morning for a sensational honeymoon.
Hills Lodge, Castle Hill – Wedding
The boys in the their sneakers waiting anxiously for the arrival of 2 gorgeous girls in black and the absolutely stunning bride Donelle. As she walked down the aisle I caught a quick glimpse of some red and black studded high heels under that amazing dress!
The order of the vows were decided by paper, scissor, rock before their hands were bound in unity by their fathers. Being a part of their day was something very special and lots of laughs were heard. I am sure the reception at the The Hills Lodge was a night to remember. Thank you Melinda Hird for these wonderful photos.
Miramare Gardens, Terrey Hills – Wedding
As Connie-lee was walked down the aisle by her father towards her lovely groom, Christian there was a not a sound to be heard. All eyes were on Connie-lee looking like she had stepped out of a fairy tale. Today’s wedding ceremony at Miramare Gardens was perfect. As it was raining ever so slightly outside the ceremony was moved inside with the garden view in the backdrop. The staff are so friendly and helpful that you could ask for no more. Miramare Gardens is the perfect location for your ceremony and reception.
Oatlands House, Oatlands – Wedding
Curzon Hall, Marsfield – Wedding
When Renata and Jarrod first asked me to perform their wedding ceremony at Curzon Hall I had not yet performed a ceremony there. Now I have had the pleasure of performing ceremonies in all of the gardens at the stunning venue. The staff are sensational and the events always run smoothly.
Jarrod and Renata’s ceremony was no different…. with live musicians to walk down the aisle to, Renata was the apple of Jarrod’s eye.
Sydney Opera House, Sydney – Wedding
Sydney Opera House Wedding
When a bride and groom contacted me about performing an Iconic Sydney Opera House Wedding, I was over the moon. The 8 months it took to plan this ceremony was so much fun. The wedding rehearsal involved around 26 people including staff, bridal party, close friends who were performing readings and the parents of the both the bride and groom.
The morning of the wedding the clouds were hovering but the closer it came to the time of the ceremony the sky became clearer and the day could not have been more perfect. With close to 150 guests and 150 spectators it was a grand event with the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the backdrop.
It was such an honour to perform this wedding ceremony and the staff at the Opera House could not have been more helpful and a delight to work with.
Another beautiful ceremony.

Bradleys Head, Mosman – Wedding
All morning the clouds were looming, with intermittent showers the chairs were put up and down about 3 times before Rochelle arrived. Gary and his Groomsmen all looked so stunning in their Kilts and as a Captain Cook party boat sailed by and started cheering – they were in for a huge surprise as the boys all decided to give them the Scottish Treatment!
As the Rochelle walked down the steps to the Amphitheatre at Bradleys Head all eyes were on her. The sky stayed clear until all signatures were completed and then I hear this “Trish” from one of the bridesmaids and she was pointing to the black cloud and thunderous rain heading our way. We had about 8 seconds and the sky opened up in that time umbrella’s miraculously appeared to surround the entire bridal party.
It was an amazing ceremony to be a part of.
The Gin Garden, Sydney – Wedding
The Gin Garden located in the famous Establishment Bar on George Street Sydney. Gin Garden is part of the Merivale Group and you can never go wrong with a wedding hosted by the staff of the Merivale Group. The guests all arrived with plenty of time for a pre wedding beverage and the look on Jeremy’s face when his gorgeous bride HC walked down the aisle was priceless.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney – Wedding
Today’s wedding ceremony in the Herb Garden of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney was wonderful. The girls arrived in the little red train and Adrian stared in amazement as Catherine walked down the aisle and up the stairs to the rotunda. The umbrellas were produced towards the end of the ceremony but it did not dampen anyone’s mood as the bride and groom said “I DO!”
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a beautiful wedding ceremony.
Little Manly Beach, Manly – Wedding
An ideal location for a wedding ceremony is Little Manly Headland. With Sydney Harbour wrapping around behind, every photo was landscaped to perfection. In varying shades of champagne the bridesmaids looked so glamorous, but not half as stunning as the bride, Kate. As any groom should do, Angad was prepared to wipe away his brides tears as his vows flowed freely from his heart. Laughs were shared when I asked who has the rings……..
Bilgola Beach, Bilgolia – Wedding
Gibraltar House, Bowral – Wedding
What an amazing house. With 20 people staying and everyone had their own
space. The house was beautifully presented and well appointed, the kitchen was
perfect for cooking for this many people and a perfect venue for a private wedding. The guests spent their weekend playing tennis, using
the spa, the cinema and playing soccer on the beautiful lawns. It was a
fantastic weekend and I was extremely jealous I had to leave.

Caves Beach, Newcastle – Wedding
One of the loveliest parts of my job is being a part of a ceremony where I have known the couple for a long time. It is such a unique wedding gift that no one else can give. I have known the grooms family for many years and when they chose Caves Beach in Newcastle to have their wedding I was over the moon. With unrestricted views and not a cloud in sight It was the perfect afternoon for Linda and Andy…….
James Oats Reserve, Kiama – Wedding
Kiama Wedding
As we arrived at James Oats Reserve, for this beautiful Kiama Wedding, There was a light sprinkle of rain. The tents went up, the tents came down…… until moments before the ceremony started and the bride arrived- then the sun sparkled through long enough for a beautiful ceremony.
McKillop Park, Freshwater – Wedding
McKillop Park, Freshwater
Andrea and Viktor’s Wedding day started with drops of rain falling on the palms of their hands as they stepped outside to check the weather. It was followed by winds that moved the clouds like a black and white movie in fast forward and as Andrea arrived promptly at 4pm the clouds cleared the way to beautiful sunny afternoon.
Being invited to share in some celebration wedding drinks and wonderful Slovakian canapés after the wedding ceremony I immersed myself in the festivities.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney – Wedding
Who can resist the iconic Harbour Bridge as a backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Emma and Dave chose the Tarpeian Precinct Lawn in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden. With the bagpipes playing Emma and her gorgeous bridesmaids were escorted the length of the gardens and were greeted by the Scotsman in their kilts!
Apex Park, Berry- Wedding
The Buddha stated only that marriage should be based on deep mutual respect between partners and that it should be a partnership of equals. Buddhists can marry anyone from any religion and their union should be a harmonious blend of the differing strengths and abilities between the man and the woman. When Beverly and Peter shared this special day with me, I was honoured to be included. We included an incense burning for the whole family and as a symbol of their love for each other Bev and Pete played a duo of love. This beautiful wedding ceremony was held in the stunning rotunda at Apex Park, Berry.

St Patricks Cathederal, Manly – Wedding
How could a day be more perfect than set high up on Manly Headland….. only weeks earlier this location was used to film Great Gatsby party scene.
The palm Trees were replanted and the water fountain removed in time for Jenna and her five bridesmaids to enter gracefully to a scene in their own movie.
